BLOOM

A program of YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley

Bloom, a program of YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley, provides complimentary wardrobes to children, women, and men who are transitioning to a life of self-reliance. We serve those who have survived domestic violence, participants in substance abuse recovery programs, those facing home insecurity, or other economic hardships. Bloom provides clothes not only to satisfy the requirements of a workplace, but also to enhance the social and recreational needs of those in our community who are working towards self-sufficiency. Your donation towards the Bloom program, will be reserved towards running the Bloom dressing program for families we serve.

About YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley

For over 100 years, YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley has  been at the forefront of the most critical social movements - from civil rights, to affordable housing and pay equity, to violence prevention. YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. We serve survivors of intimate partner abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking through life-changing and life-saving programs. We offer housing to women seeking a safe place to live, provide affordable childcare for families of survivors, and for working parents; and job placement and training for older adults. We’re also on the front lines advocating for rape crisis funding, immigration reform, voting rights and key issues that impact women, girls and our communities both locally and nationally. We have a geographic reach from Marin to San Jose and serve 25,000 individuals annually.
